I'm not going to buy the book, but I hope someone else does so I can see what Eric Boehlert says about sexist, Obamaholic "progressive" bloggers. It's good to know that some things never change: liberals fighting liberals.
Update: David Sirota takes the gold medal in the Giant Prick competition:
I note this as an example of deliberately dishonest and slanderous content that I will request a user get banned for, whether that user displays that dishonesty and slander in Quick Hits, in a comment or in a diary. This is a site that respects facts and integrity - when users soil this site with lies that they know are lies, they are hurting the entire community by hurting the community's general credibility.
This is from a front page post at a major liberal blog about a diarist.

I guess it'll be my job, Mithras. It's tough being me. Seeing as how Riverdaughter got an advance copy, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to like what I see.

I think deep-down we all know there's been a little too much lock-stepage. And I don't even think it's an Obama thing. It's a perceived power thing. That Chevy Chase club shrimp cocktail has bought off many a former critic.

I don't even know what is going on anymore. Isn't this still a Kos v. Armstrong thing?

I thought it was a Kos v. Armando thing.

"I have requested that commenter/diarist John Halle be banned from OpenLeft, or at least have his Quick Hits privileges removed, for a high-profile post that I have deleted but have put at the bottom of this post for reference."
I realize I am not on the Left, and so I'm probably missing some kind of subtext obvious to everyone else, but the above makes no sense.
I next read the offending "high profile", deleted but cited post(?)and it was sort of a mild zinger - as much zing as you can wring from an old post about an obscure senator.
Seems like Sirota needs to reduce his caffeine intake a notch. All that "quick hit" required for a response was maybe a link to another post and a "Dude, do your homework before posting" remark.
