So Jaded

I haven't been posting much because I'm pretty depressed about (a) the economy and (b) Obama's handling thereof. Torture prosecutions, yeah sure, I want that but the top people like Cheney and Rice and Rumsfeld can't be touched, so what's the point? Lt. Calley and Lynddie England took the fall, I don't need more of them..

But the economy is shitty & possibly getting shittier and may in fact become catastrophic. Handled badly enough, large numbers of real people will suffer. Some will die needlessly, others' lives will be ruined.

It all matters, but some things really matter. Everything I read tells me that the administration is fucking it up.
