Friends-

We haven’t really shot anything like this before, but we felt compelled to make this video after what I can only describe as the tragic passing of Proposition 8 on November 4th. California and other states allowed intolerance and fear to prevail in order to strip an entire group of Americans of their fundamental right to marry the one they love.

Simply put this is not a gay issue, or a straight issue. This is not about states rights or religion. This is about human rights.

Everyone is busy. At our company we are pulling all nighters in the final moments of launching a website we’ve been building for over 3 years. But all of us, regardless of how busy we are must find the time to do our part and stand up against what is wrong. One of the artists we shot a feature on, Joey Ryan joined us and donated his track “California” to score this feature and we think it fits perfectly.

Edmund Burke said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” Our recourse is to fight the injustice this proposition inflicts on good people.

We didn’t shoot what you are about to watch specifically for anyone—we shot it for everyone.
