Spent about 6 hours out on 9th Street today, bellowing that people should come and register to vote. Bellowing was necessary because otherwise no one would have heard over the music and general revelry. Saw Brendan and Roxanne and assorted other friendly faces. Got a roast pork sandwich from a vendor I didn't know and threw it away after one bite, and got sausage and peppers with sharp provolone from DiBruno Brothers (the store in the Hamgate scandal which sank Barack Obama's campaign - remember him? The black guy) and devoured it.
A good time was had by all.
Not as productive registering voters now that the primary is over, of course. The best customers are couples - the girl drags the boy over and makes him do it - and parents with kids who just turned 18.
Total today: 31
