Obama came to the National Constitution Center this morning and delivered this talk. If you didn't hear it or read it, do so. To any fair-minded person, it's a moving speech. Are there any fair-minded people left? Doubtful. Will his speech change anyone's mind? No. It will be rejected by those who favor someone else and it will be embraced by those who support him. Will it change the media narrative? We'll see. I understand Fox News is hammering the "[Rev. Wright] has been like family to me" part, which is to be expected.
Having been left off the invite list for the speech due to some inexplicable oversight, I instead spent 3 hours on the street registering people to vote.
Today's total: 20.
Total since Saturday: 44.
More tomorrow.
Update: Via e-mail, I am informed that I was wrong: Obama's speech has caused at least one person's to change his mind and decide to vote for him.
Fables regrets the error.
