You can get a pretty good statistical fit by assuming that the newbie surge will decay with a half-life of about three weeks. In other words, by mid-February 75% of them will be gone. Somewhat surprisingly, the higher your club's monthly dues, the longer the half-life.

And, of course, some of them will learn to use the equipment. They'll never wipe it off when they're finished, though.

m'eh, gyms are for tools. best bet is to find a decent sport/physical endeavour that'll work that ass.

They really have matching sweatsuits? I really can't even fathom such a thing...
