when did "overhaul" and "eliminate" become synonomous?

dear george,

we the people would like to overhaul your presidency.

sincerely,

the disenfranchised

So how's that change working out for you...

dumb ass...

You know, we were using 40% of the revenue the government collected to pay on the debt. Now Bama is doubling it. So now we will use 80% to pay interest on the debt... where they (govt) gonna get the rest of the money they need? oh yea, from us working folk...

basic economics. They are just in it for a power grab, control, giving out freebies for votes...

The change is working out pretty well, actually. We have a non-idiot in the White House. Gitmo is closing and we're withdrawing from Iraq. Global warming is starting to get addressed. Civil liberties and the rule of law actually mean something again. And we're about to get real health care reform.

Actually, no. The interest on the federal debt is running around $260 billion a year, and the 2009 budget is $3.1 trillion, which is about 8.4%. In 2010, it's budgeted to be 4.6%. Back in '97, it was 15%.

Man, conservatives are stupid.
