The NYTimes.com, once again getting it wrong about us "web diarists":
In cyberspace, left-leaning bloggers have managed to create an America where Republicans simply don't exist, at least as anything more than useful abstractions — like Eurasia and Eastasia in "1984."
"Echo chamber." "They're just talking to themselves." "Irrelevant." Whatever, idiot. That's why you're writing this article and dropping names as fast as you can.
What did you expect? Asking print journalists to write about the impact of blogs is like asking the VHS people to weigh in on the DVD revolution.

I think opinions like Williams's is produced more by ignorance than bias. Blogs are hardly going to cut into the bottom lines of traditional media, like DVD into VHS; public apathy, television and good old-fashioned American know-nothingism are already doing that just fine.

Things are going to hell, Mithras. It's like a darkness is falling over the land. Even Republicans who were talking sense before, they're starting to fall into line. It's like they're hypnotized or something.
