So I'm new to RSS Feed - how do I get updates for people who have it.
More importantly, how do people get my feed.

Answer if you have time and I will thank you.

Andrew - you need an RSS newsreader. I use bloglines.com myself. It's free, and you read your feeds on line - I have 152 blogs in mine. That's the principal benefit of RSS - you can get only the new posts from your favorite blogs (and other news sources) and you don't have to go to each site. It's a time-saver. The setup is really self-explanatory; check it out.

It looks like you set up a Blogmatrix RSS feed on your blog, but it hasn't been updated in a while. (The newest entry in your feed is October 6.) Do you need to do something with Blogmatrix? Does Blogspot offer the ability to put an RSS feed in your template? (By the way, please make sure to syndicate your whole post, not just the title or a portion - it helps.)

As for how it works, I am sort of a neophyte myself. The way I understand it, whatever RSS feed you set up grabs all of your posts and saves them in a file. Then, my RSS newsreader grabs the new posts from that file and sends them to my Bloglines account. When I pull it up, all I see is all the new posts - if I want to, I can click through to a post and comment.

Ah, that was the missing link I needed. No I haven't updated, but I'll figure that one out myself.
I really want to know for another site I'm setting up off blogspot.

Thank you.

Heheh. You're most welcome.

From what I've read of Volokh, he's something of an extremist who can make subject and verb agree (in a sentence). I guess to some people that suggests intelligence.

Yes, because he doesn't rant like a loon people think his ideas must be reasonable.
