It's still 9 weeks until inauguration day, and you'd think Democrats would be able to hold off getting all crazy again. You'd be wrong. Digby:

Seriously, it's as if the man hadn't just finished trouncing both the Clintons and McCain in the same year. It's really curious. Do people not think he's actually a good politician, in the sense of very capable? He must have gotten lucky with the economy and with the press hating Hillary, is that it? I see. If I didn't know better, I'd say people just can't believe some young black guy figured out how to win all by himself.
Look, the election is over. Liberal bloggers had very little to do with how it all came out and we'll have even less to do with what happens from here on out, mainly because bloggers don't do anything other than type and occasionally organize some contributions and phone calling efforts. Even if the members of the PUMA-sphere got off their asses and tried to affect personnel decisions during the transition, the odds are pretty low it would have an impact.
Whatever decisions are going to be made by the new administration are going to be the result of careful planning by the Obama team, whether the plan works or not. The running of the Obama White House is in the hands of the people who were elected to run it. Until their actions have a result that we can measure, there's really nothing we can do about it. I'm not saying give up and lie down. I'm saying that before you can react rationally to something, you have to have something to react to.
Meanwhile, if you have a lot of extra energy that you're thinking about putting into wild blog comments about how what we need is a revolution because this Obama guy is such a sellout, man, don't. Instead, get all of your wanker friends together and come up with a plan to lobby your members of Congress on healthcare, or the war, or whatever issue(s) you consider most crucial. Do something positive. Not that it will work, but at least you won't be cluttering up my feed reader with drivel.
