Sounds like an honest mistake to me.

Easy to confuse the two.

this is probably a stenographer's mistake.

often captioners use steno machines and have macros for problem phrases.

the macro could have been h-k for hillary clinton and L-k for al qaeda.

H & l are a keystroke away on certain steno machines so I can see this happening. it is inexcusable as the error changes context drastically and it is a very emotionally & politically charged context change.

Look at that, actual facts!
